- Whether your relatives may react to certain medications the same way you do
- Whether your genes indicate you should take a higher or lower dose of certain medications
- How two (or more) of your medications may interact with one and another to cause harmful side effects
You will also receive a letter summarizing the information discussed during your consultation.
Helix Health offers 30-minute or 60-minute phone consultations for Genelex customers. They also offer in-person meetings in New York and Connecticut. In-person appointments are arranged directly with Helix Health. Phone consultation is an additional $200 or $350 for 30- or 60-minute consultations, respectively.
Helix Health is a personalized medicine practice with offices in New York, NY and Greenwich, CT. Their team includes medical geneticists, internists with additional expertise in pharmacology and board-certified genetic counselors. Helix Health physicians and counselors are available by phone to provide care for patients who are not in their geographical area.
