It is recommended that you obtain the services of an attorney familiar with Immigration Law. Paternity Testing Labcannot give legal advice, or answer any questions concerning the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service regulations. The attorney will help you contact the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service to initiate the process and to obtain the (necessary) Immigration case number or numbers.
Step 2. To prove their relationship to each person who wishes to come to the United States (mother/child, father/child, siblings) to the satisfaction of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, a DNA test may be required.

It is possible that the Embassy will ask for a fee to be paid for taking the sample(s). We cannot tell when this will or will not happen; nor can we estimate the cost for this service. It is set arbitrarily at the embassies. STEP 4. Once the Embassy sends us your family member(s) DNA samples, it will take our lab approximately 5-7 business days to complete the testing. All payment will be due before releasing results of the test. We will then send the client and the Embassy the results. The Embassy will also receive a copy of the entire “Chain of Custody” packet as required.
